Barry Rellaford smiling outdoors Barry Rellaford One With One: Being Truer in All of our Relationships Room East Chapel

Session Overview

Explore what it means to be fully present and genuinely true — then practice it with tools you'll actually use.

Speaker Bio

Growing and helping others grow has been the golden thread woven through Barry's whole life. Barry was born in California, joined the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints near the end of his time at Paradise High School, and not long after found himself in France — serving a full-time mission that would shape everything that followed.

Barry earned degrees in people development from BYU and Ohio State, but honestly, the most important thing that happened during those years was marrying Lorilee. Together they've built a family they're deeply grateful for: six children, five wonderful daughters-in-law, and thirteen grandchildren who keep us growing. Lorilee and Barry recently had the privilege of returning to France and Switzerland as senior missionaries, this time serving Young Adults — a chapter they'll always treasure.

Professionally, Barry works at the intersection of purpose and growth. He is part of BYU's Sorensen Center for Moral & Ethical Leadership, where he teaches a course called Discovering Your Unique Impact and provide leadership coaching. He also collaborates with one of his sons on helping people step into their true selves as creators — something close to both of their hearts.

At the end of the day, what he loves most is creating — and doing it alongside other people.

As beloved daughters of Heavenly Parents, disciples of Christ, and children of the covenant, we can access spiritual gifts and divine traits to help us with the trials of mortality. We are mortal children of our first parents, our glorious mother Eve and Father Adam. This is a powerful combination. In this session we will be discussing our divine identity from Eve and other faithful women throughout sacred history, how the gospel restored this important knowledge and changed the lives of early Latter-day Saint women, and what it means for us today.

She is married to Chris Wilkinson and they have three children: Scarlett, Max, and Lily. She enjoys golfing in her spare time.

Courtney Spencer smiling in a red top Courtney Spencer Embrace the Hit: On the way to the mount (3rd level) Room E217-218

Session Overview

Life rarely goes according to plan. Setbacks, heartbreak, unexpected detours, and difficult relationships can feel overwhelming—but often, those very moments are where God is shaping us into who He needs us to become as we strive to return to Him and become more like our Savior, Jesus Christ. In this class, Courtney will share personal experiences from her journey of discipleship, including competing in the Olympic sport of Skeleton, leaving behind everything familiar to move to New York City, and navigating the blessings and challenges of family dynamics. Through it all, she’ll discuss what it means to hold tightly to the iron rod, trust God’s plan, and find lasting perspective and peace through the true plan of happiness.

Speaker Bio

Orion Maxfield crouching outdoors Orion Maxfield Securely Attached to Heaven (3rd level) Room E205

Session Overview

Many of us unknowingly relate to God through the lens of insecurity—seeing Him as distant, disappointed, controlling, or constantly monitoring our mistakes. These perceptions can shape how we pray, worship, and experience our spiritual lives. This training explores how attachment theory can help us better understand our relationship with God and move from insecure patterns toward a more secure connection with Him.

Together, we’ll examine common ways we misunderstand God’s character and discuss what it means to trust in a Father who loves us, respects our agency, and invites rather than compels. As we develop a more secure attachment to Heaven, faith can become less about merely enduring to the end and more about walking with God in confidence, trust, and joy.

Speaker Bio

Orion Maxfield is a therapist in training from Salt Lake City, Utah, and the Executive Director of Gender Harmony Institute, a nonprofit dedicated to supporting mental health and well-being. Drawing from a background in marketing, he helps therapists grow their practices and connect with the people they are best equipped to serve. Outside of his professional work, he enjoys long walks, good conversations, and sharing meals with friends.
